There’s something sooo special about stationery - how it starts the excitement for a celebration, then becomes a keepsake long after the day has passed. At my little studio every design begins with that feeling in mind, creating something romantic, timeless, and full of heart for each couple I work with.

I studied Illustration at university during the dreaded Covid, but after a year of Zoom Zoom Zoom, I realised it wasn’t the creative experience I’d hoped for. I went on to work in TV production for a while, hoping to break into the art department, before eventually finding myself in a design agency role. It was there that I realised I needed something more. More creative, more actual humans (not computers!) and more love behind what I was designing.

That’s how Mia’s Paperie started, born from a love of illustration, design, and all things romantic. I LOVE that stationery is part of such a happy milestone in people’s lives. Every couple I work with is excited about their big day, and I get to share in that excitement with them, it never feels like “just a job.”

My style is romantic and timeless (probably a little bit old-fashioned but in the best possible way) I love stationery that speaks for itself, where the design and paper do the talking but I’ll never say no to a ribbon or wax seal. As an illustrator, I like to weave in subtle, personal details that make each suite feel truly yours but still refined, elegant, and considered. I worked behind the scenes in TV as I’ve always loved Film and TV and I still take inspiration from that world. (If you’ve ever obsessed over the aesthetic of Bridgerton, you’re in the best place!)

I care about sustainability and purpose, so I avoid including elements that don’t serve both pretty-ness and function. Every detail has to earn its place and feel intentional.

I want every couple I work with to feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely excited about their stationery. Whether you already know exactly what you’d like or you’re just starting to figure it out, I’ll help guide you through everything step by step with no weird jargon or anything overwhelming - just a lovely, collaborative experience that will be enjoyable and not a task to tick off!

And as a 2027 bride myself, I completely understand how much each decision means, so you can trust that I’ll treat your designs with the same care and love I will (eventually) put into my own.
